2025-2026 NOAMA Faculty Development Lottery

NOAMA is pleased to offer an opportunity for PCTA members to receive reimbursement funding to support attendance at approved faculty and/or leadership development courses.

  • Reimbursement of up to $3,000 is available for up to 10 applicants.
  • Eligible courses include leadership, medical education, and research development programs, such as those offered by the Physician Management Institute (PMI).
  • Recipients will be selected through a random draw.
  • Priority will be given to first-time applicants.
  • Reimbursement is provided after successful completion of the course and submission of required documentation.
Recipient Selection Process

NOAMA Administration will use the following ballot system for each applicant:

Each ballot will be entered into a computerized lottery system, and recipients will be selected at random.

Reimbursement Process

Applicants who are successful must complete the course within the NOAMA fiscal year (April 1 – March 31) in which they are successful. They must submit the following documents to noama@noama.ca within 2 months after NOAMA’s year end (May 31).

  • Receipts for reimbursement
    • Travel must follow OMA Guidelines and be the most efficient option
  • Course-related documentation:
    • Certificate of completion or equivalent proof
    • Summary of key learnings
