Faculty Development Opportunties

Earn continuing professional development credits through Public Health Sudbury & Districts

Public Health Sudbury & Districts Academic Detailing (AD) program was developed to help primary care practitioners bridge knowledge and skill gaps on a variety of public health issues encountered in practice. The topic of the AD program changes on an annual basis.

When you sign up for a session, an Academic Detailer will meet with you in your office, one-on-one, for approximately 30 minutes, tailor the session to what you want to learn, and provide:

  1. An overview of key evidence and best-practice guidelines,
  2. Evidence-based and pragmatic clinical tools, and
  3. Relevant local public health and community resources for your patients.
